Cemetery
Maries
County, Missouri
This cemetery is barely out of Miller County and
in neighboring Maries County. From
Iberia go Hwy 42 East for 2 miles to Jct. Hwy BB. Turn right on Hwy BB and go 6 miles to the
Maries County line. From that point
continue on BB about 1 mile. When you
top the hill you can see the small Freedom Cemetery sign on the right side of
the road. Turn right and go .1 miles to
the cemetery.
There are many local area residents buried here so
I thought it was needful to include them with the Miller County Cemetery
listings.
The cemetery is fenced and well-kept. They have a nice pavilion in the cemetery
with two picnic tables for people to set at.
There are several small white crosses made with
what looks to be PVC pipe with caps on top and sides and a small metal plate
fastened to them, which either has a name on them and date or partial of either
of them and the others have unknown and are numbered 1 through 7 on them with
no other information available.
